The Ecological Restoration team employs a range of best practice techniques which are in accordance with those promoted by the Australian Association of Bush Regenerators (AABR).
More...Techniques are based on facilitating natural regeneration by removing immediate threats to the ecosystem and monitoring the ecosystem response. This might involve, but is not limited to, systematic environmental weed control and restoration programs, large-scale to unique site-specific revegetation projects, protection and enhancement of threatened species and their habitats, structural projects in natural environments, all forms of natural area management activities, short-to long-term maintenance, monitoring and evaluation programs, and provision of a skilled labour force to undertake day-to-day ecological or horticultural practices.
