Project Name: Ecco Ripley
Client: Sekisui House
Our role: Ecco Ripley is located in the Western Growth Corridor of South East Queensland, around 5 kilometres south-east of the Ipswich Central Business District. Ecco Ripley was identified as a major development area in 2009 under the South East Queensland Regional Plan 2009-2031, and it is anticipated to experience major growth over the next twenty years. Over this period, the Urban Development Area is projected to yield approximately 55,000 dwellings, with a population of around 120,000 residents.
LandPartners is working with Sekisui House to develop the Ecco Ripley Urban Core, which is the focal point of the Ecco Ripley priority development area in terms of density, land use and accessibility. The urban core is anticipated to have a population of some 19,000 residents living in approximately 8,000 dwellings when completed, as well as the town centre of some 200,000m2 of commercial floor area. LandPartners is providing all statutory planning services to realise the ambitious plan for this area, including the preparation and facilitation of development applications; negotiating with the Urban Land Development Authority / Economic Development Queensland as the assessment manager; and coordinating a wide range of built environment consultants necessary to the delivery of this new city.
